July Employee Spotlight: Jeff Spratt

Jeff Spratt has been with MECO for over 14 years. He is currently in fabrication.

What does a typical day look like for you?

A lot of hard work and sweat.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Vacation and Gold Sheets (PTO).

What attracted you to MECO?

The ability to pay my bills; used to work construction, a friend referred him to MECO.

What advice would you give to someone new to MECO?

Pay close attention.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Go home and relax.

What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?

I am a pretty easy-going guy. I have two kids I take care of.

Do you have a hidden talent or hobby?

I do my own mechanic work on my vehicles. I used to be a mason.

What is your favorite food?

Steak.

If you could travel to any state in the U.S., or any country, which state or country would that be?

I have visited many states. Most are nice to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there. I’m happy living where I’m at.
