May Employee Spotlight: Samantha Chaudoin
Samantha Chaudoin started with MECO when she was 14 or 15 cleaning the office areas. Now, over 16 years later, she is the office manager. She keeps the peace, plans events, helps with HR items or whatever may come up on a given day.
What does a typical day look like for you?
Really, I don’t have a typical day, every day is different.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
That every day is different and that I’m able to work with people from all of the different departments.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
Keeping people happy; finding team-building activities and ordering meals that everyone will like.
What is one thing that stands out in your mind that you have learned since working at MECO?
I’ve grown up at MECO, so it’s a long list. But the most important thing I’ve learned is that the employees are the most important. When you give them a voice it makes all the difference.
What advice would you give to someone new to MECO?
I would encourage them to learn the entire “process”. How does what they are doing effect the next process after them.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy being outside and doing craft projects of all kinds.
What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?
I enjoy true crime programs and books.
Do you have a hidden talent or hobby?
I used to make elaborate cakes and also enjoy photography.

Italian or Cajun.
