Gale Cokes has been with MECO for over 11 years. He is currently a Lead in the Painting Department.

What attracted you to MECO?

A friend told me about MECO. So I decided to apply.

What does a typical day look like for you?

No day is typical. I do a lot of different jobs depending on where I’m needed.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The people I work with.

What advice would you give to someone new to MECO?

Give the company a chance. You will like it.

What do you like to do outside of work?

II like to fish.

What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?

I’m a good guy.

Do you have a hidden talent or hobby?

I’m an open book. I have no hidden hobbies or talents.

What is your favorite food?

I love Chinese food.

If you could travel to any state in the U.S., or any country, which state or country would that be?

I have been and want to go back to New Orleans.
