2026 February Employee Spotlight: Eric Clark

Eric Clark has been with MECO for over 11 years. He is a Steel Cutter in the Fabrication Department.

What attracted you to MECO?

Honestly? It paid more than my previous job.

What does a typical day look like for you?

I come in, turn on the machine, look over the schedule, make plans and then start cutting.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

That every week I get my 40 hours.

What advice would you give to someone new to MECO?

Listen to your lead not other employees.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I like to play bass guitar and piano for my church.

What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?

Most people don’t know that my favorite flavor is strawberry.

Do you have a hidden talent or hobby?

I have a degree in software engineering.

What is your favorite food?

It would have to be a nice steak.

If you could travel to any state in the U.S., or any country, which state or country would that be?

I would love to go to Japan.
