December Employee Spotlight: Jacob Bresnaham

Jacob Bresnaham has been with MECO for over 12 years. He currently runs the Fiber Optic Laser.

What attracted you to MECO?

Needed a job and my stepdad worked at MECO.

What does a typical day look like for you?

Straighten material. Load material. Load program. Start the laser to cut the material. Put material on shaker table. Load material on pallets. REPEAT!

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Actually running a laser.

What advice would you give to someone new to MECO?

Take your time and don’t rush. Ask questions.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Watching football and playing videos.

What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?

Most people don’t know that I have double jointed fingers.

Do you have a hidden talent or hobby?

None come to mind.

What is your favorite food?

When my family makes this cornbake (Mac’n’Cheese with corn).

If you could travel to any state in the U.S., or any country, which state or country would that be?

Ireland!
